Ozone Coffee Roasters source, roast, and supply specialty coffee to homes, coffee shops, and businesses throughout the UK and New Zealand with cafes and roasteries in London, New Plymouth, and Auckland.
My incredibly fulfilling time with Ozone spanned from August 2016 through to April 2020. The people of Ozone very quickly became like family and I thrived on contributing to and supporting the brand’s commercial and community growth.
I was devoted to high-level delivery of strategy, marketing and communication, event management and stakeholder management across multiple platforms and territories.
My resume details the strategic stuff while this digital space is a canvas to feature some of my favourite (and proudest) creative outputs, including brand alignment, event management, content creation and publishing.

How cool is this: A coffee brand that invests in producing a printed magazine as way of connecting community and celebrating coffee, hospitality, business, and everything in between.
Uniting stories from both the UK and NZ, every Ozone Journal is produced in-house, printed in the UK and enjoyed far and wide around the globe. It was truly an honour to work as part of an inspiring editorial team, contributing ideas, sourcing content and contributing as a photographer and videographer.

Brand alignment.
I’ll bang on about this until I’m as blue in the face as this website - I love love love aligning brands together to create a force of positive impact. Here are a few brands that clicked immediately with Ozone’s DNA and values - and, with my management and nurturing, created real magic.

Haeckels.
Haeckels is a skincare brand driven by honesty and transparency. Founded in Margate, UK, founders Dom and Charlie opened a shopfront in East London in 2019. Soon after meeting over an Ozone brunch we joined forces for the good of the planet.
What resulted was a limited edition body product produced using spent coffee grounds (sourced from Ozone Coffee eateries in London).
I have so much respect for every facet of Haeckels - a brand that cuts no corners, tell no lies, and produces outrageously pleasing products.
Ornamental Conifer
Ornamental Conifer is the moniker of British artist Nicolai Sclater—Artist-in-Residence at Race Service. Nico's work is known for being bright, bold and subversive.
When Ozone Coffee turned 20, it was a milestone that deserved its own identity - and, then Ozone’s Creative Director offered me the opportunity to approach and work with Nico. Well, I almost busted at the seams.
Accepting the “Ozone 20” brief and commission, Nico righteously produced a variety of outputs - including the install of a special anniversary mural featured on the interior wall at Ozone Coffee, Shoreditch.

About six months before I joined as Marketing Manager, founder, James Gurr, approached me to produce and supply photography for their upcoming website refresh. So, it’s no surprise that capturing all things Ozone was an intrinsic part of my role - and one I loved and adored with every frame.
Product, space, people, events, special projects - I was behind the camera and capturing for outputs from social media, to printed publications, cafe menus and, particularly close to my heart, #dogsofozone.
